Camille Varner Kolafa is a character-driven illustrator specializing in fantastical themes.

Heavily influenced by the fantasy media she grew up with, Camille finds joy in creating fantasy, or imaginative realism, narrative illustrations. Working primarily traditionally with pencil and paper (but sometimes "tradigitally"), she strives to create compelling narratives by utilizing light, color, and composition. She puts emphasis on facial expression and body language, illustrating dramatic motion and moods.

Camille is from Henrico, Virginia and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Communication Arts.
